Bringing Home Closer, Anywhere in the World – Leiser TV OTT Web & APP Redesign

About the Project

Nexovah was tasked with redesigning the Leiser TV experience to provide Estonians worldwide with a world-class streaming environment. We integrated essential OTT features—including a real-time TV Guide (TV Kava), advanced recording archives (Salvestused), and multi-device synchronization—into a unified, intuitive interface. The result is a platform that simplifies access to home media, whether users are watching on a web browser, tablet, or smart TV.

Our Process & Methodology

The project began with a deep-dive consultation with the Leiser TV team to define the target audience and specific user personas of Estonians living abroad.

• Strategy: We translated these insights into a comprehensive mind map and user flow charts using FigJam to ensure a logical architecture for live and on-demand content.
• Design: From there, we moved into Figma to design the primary pages and mobile interfaces, establishing a modern, sleek visual language for the brand.
• Collaboration: Client confirmation was our top priority; we maintained a continuous feedback loop between the Leiser TV team and our designers. This iterative process ensured that complex features like catch-up TV and radio streaming were refined until the final delivery.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was to take a complex streaming architecture and deliver a “zero-friction” user experience across web and mobile platforms. We focused on creating a fully responsive design that maintains high-speed performance for global streaming while managing a massive library of Estonian and international channels. By balancing powerful backend functionality with a minimalist, user-friendly front-end, Nexovah successfully bridged the gap between technical OTT complexity and an effortless viewing experience.
